This here is Jack, a Border Collie currently 3 months old, & a new addition to the household. He appears to be more intelligent than some of the humans he comes into contact with.
How he will fare on board a yacht remains to be seen. I will wait 'till the summer when the water warms up a bit... I wonder if I should take a tree stump with me for part of his necessaries? Perhaps the mast will suffice. The other doesn't bear thinking about. How will he cope with the deck sloping like the roof of a house?

Part 1 of this program was shown on BBC2 last night & featured Griff Rhys Jones, Rory Mc Grath & Dara O'Briain attempting to sail a yacht from London to the Isle Of Wight. GRJ was allegedly the ' skipper', & from the complete hash he made of it he should not be allowed across the Serpentine without the closest supervision. Hedge-creeping lubber...
