Here are a very few images of this years RTIR, taken by poking the camera out the back of 'Storm' when the rare opportunity arose. I was too busy to do any more - particularly on the South side of the island with somewhat breezy conditions & an interesting swell off St Catherine's Point.
The adjacent image of 'No Drama' was taken shortly before a crew member went for an unintentional swim. She was safely recovered thanks to a bit of quality seamanship by the skipper.....

This was the first time the Extreme 40's have raced at Cowes Week - the action took place just off the Green, amongst the moorings.

The majority of the images here are from the Beneteau 40.7 Class, entered by Britannia Events for JP Morgan. I managed to get back to Cowes just in time to catch a few of the IRC Class 0 yachts & a couple of the Open 60's finishing.
